About HealAtlas

What HealAtlas does

HealAtlas publishes plain-language explanations of health research, preventive care, nutrition, exercise, sleep, mental health, and wellness. Our aim is to help readers understand what evidence shows, what remains uncertain, and which questions are best discussed with a qualified healthcare professional.

How articles are produced

Articles may use automated and AI-assisted tools for topic discovery, organization, drafting, data presentation, and image creation. Automation does not establish whether a medical claim is true. Material claims are expected to link to the underlying study, guideline, regulator, or public-health source so readers can inspect the evidence.

Unless an article explicitly names a qualified medical reviewer, it has not been reviewed by a physician or other licensed clinician. HealAtlas does not invent reviewer credentials or imply clinical oversight that did not occur.

Our evidence standard

We give priority to public-health agencies, medical guidelines, systematic reviews, peer-reviewed research, and the original study behind a news report. We distinguish randomized trials from observational research, human evidence from laboratory or animal work, and established guidance from preliminary findings. We describe material limitations when they affect how readers should interpret a result.

What HealAtlas cannot provide

HealAtlas provides general information. It does not diagnose conditions, prescribe treatments, replace professional medical care, or provide advice for an individual reader. Health decisions depend on personal history, medications, symptoms, examination, and other information that a general article cannot evaluate.
